Our TB test results were read today, and the herd got the all clear which is always a relief.
On the day of reading the test, the vet uses callipers to measure the skin, to see if any lumps have been caused as a reaction to the test. Any reactors mean the herd is placed under movement restrictions and infected animals have to be sent to slaughter to help control the spread of disease.
Luckily, all of ours were clear!
