It’s lambing time at Warren Farm!
For the first time ever, we have had lambs born on the farm. Our Hebridean sheep are fortunately used to some wild weather, and they are quite comfortable lambing all outside. The lambs are doing great, we catch them all after a couple of days to give them a check over, and then they go backs with their mums to run around the fields. It’s amazing how fast they are after only a few hours of being born!
We have 17 ewes to lamb this spring, with some expecting twins! Keep an eye out if you come and visit the farm for them.
