Welcome to Warren Farm
Caring for our animals and this landscape for over 50 years
Warren Farm is a family farm near the Needles on the Isle of Wight. We are National Trust tenants, raising Sussex cattle, Herdwick sheep and milking a herd of Jersey cows. We aim to farm in harmony with nature to help protect the landscape surrounding us, with the rare chalk downland of West High Down and the coastal heath of Headon Warren.
Our Story
Hi, we’re James and Becca. We’re the farmers here at Warren Farm, where our family has been farming for over 50 years. Having worked off the island for a few years, we were drawn back to this beautiful part of the world and the farm. The welfare of our animals and protection of this precious environment is at the heart of everything we do here: our dairy cows raise their calves whilst providing us with delicious milk, and our Sussex cattle and Herdwick sheep play an integral part in caring for our landscape.
Our Dairy
On our farm we embrace the traditional ways of producing milk, but with a modern twist. We keep our dairy cows and their calves together, so they can rear their calves naturally whilst also producing creamy Jersey milk for you to enjoy. Our micro dairy is a small dairy farm with a herd of up to twenty pedigree Jersey cows, whose ancestors have been on the island for many generations.
Our milk is unhomogenised, so the cream rises naturally to the top. It is also gently pasteurised to preserve the goodness and ensure it is full of flavour and nutrition.
Self‑service Farm Shop
In our self‑service farm shop, you can find a range of our own produce, including our Jersey milk and pasture‑fed meat. We also stock a range of local produce, including fresh eggs and a small selection of homemade jams, marmalades and chutneys.
Our self‑service coffee machine offers hot and cold drinks, plus snacks to enjoy as a pit stop on a walk.
Functions & Events
A versatile venue for events, classes and corporate gatherings. Our stone barn seats up to 100 theatre‑style or 80 with tables, with additional marquee space and an outdoor garden area for larger events.
Tours are available for anyone planning a function.
